This Little Light Ministries
The Dominican Republic is known to many as a beautiful paradise where people go on vacation. But unfortunately there is a side to the DR that many people do not see but is more prevalent than the beauty of the tropical beaches. The amount of poverty in the DR is astounding. The water is unfit to drink. There are holes in the roofs and walls where the people live. Children often go hungry. In the little village of Punta de Garza, the family of Dr. Enerio Mercedes is operating a school to combat the poverty. The teachers are wonderful and work for far less pay than the public school teachers. This is where TLLM feels that God is calling them to raise support for the school and these wonderful teachers. I had the privilege to go on several mission trips to the school were we completed a work project and help the teachers in their classes. Haiti Febuary 2010
Cindy’s Canine Companions along with and few other friends contributed funds for the benefit of the Haitian earthquake victims. We were excited to know that our funding went directly to benefit the Haitian community. For further information or interest in helping just email me.

Cindy’s Canine Companions is Sponsoring a Fundraising cruise to the Caribbean. For every room that our group sells $100 will go to This Little Light Ministries. Pictures will follow.
Caribbean Cruise
Cindy Canine Companions sponsored a fund raising grooming cruise. All proceeds went to This Little Light Ministries. We had a wonderful time. Ron and Sandy from TLLM was able to set up a booth with all their information while we were in grooming classes. The Lord has blessed this trip with fun for all.
